We know that God knows what we need even before we ask. So why don’t we instead stop and ask him: “God, what is on your heart for this situation?” or “How would you like me to pray?” or “How do you see this?”
Listening Prayer is all about starting with God first.

Listening Prayer
Weekly Listening Prayer Time
Each Wednesday Morning from 6 am Brisbane, Australia time, we host an hour long Listening Prayer Session. You are more than welcome to join us for this time.
The format is:
Open in Prayer
Focus on a specific Scripture
Listening to a Worship Song
Sharing the Question to Ask God about today
Break off into 20 minutes of silence
Time of sharing what God spoke to each one about (we hear the voice
God in community)
Close in prayer
We work to keep the time to the hour. To receive the weekly email update which include the scripture , worship song, question to ask God and the zoom link, complete the form on the Contact Page.

To help you in your own Listening Prayer Times, we provide the following services:
Hosting Listening Prayer Times
We can speak to your group about listening prayer and facilitate a listening prayer time. With technology such as zoom, your prayer group can be anywhere in the world.
Need a retreat leader? Happy to work with you on planning and running a retreat focused on hearing God’s voice.
One-on-One Coaching. The ability to hear God’s voice can make all the difference to your spiritual growth. There are times when sitting down with someone and coaching/speaking about listening to God can be highly beneficial.

Listening Prayer Exercises
As we have run Listening Prayer Times since March 2021, we have a whole series of Listening Prayer Exercises that you can use for your prayer group or your personal Listening Prayer Times. Each exercise has scripture to focus on, a worship song and a question to ask God.
For some, we have recordings available of when we ran that specific listening prayer time.
Once you have completed the exercise, it would be great if you could comment in the comment section on what God spoke to you about. Remember, we hear the voice of God in community. Sharing what you have heard helps others to confirm that they have heard the voice of God for themselves.
Amongst these exercises are a mixture of specific teachings on prayer or links to other videos/podcasts/teachings that you may find very beneficial.
